MISSION International Health Services trains medical professionals to integrate their personal faith in Jesus into their medical practices. VISION   God will transform lives using IHS and its partners to equip medical professionals to grow in faith, compassion and competence, integrating these principles into their practice. We are convinced that transformed lives will profoundly impact communities, systems, and nations for Christ. CORE BELIEFS  We believe that the Bible is the inspired word and revelation of God. These Scriptures are our final authority in faith and conduct. We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons Father, Son and Holy Spirit yet one in essence, co-equal and co-existent. We believe that Jesus Christ, the second person of the Trinity and the eternal Son of God, was begotten of Mary, a virgin, by the Holy Spirit and was born of man. We believe in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His substitutionary atoning death through His shed blood on Calvary’s cross, in His bodily resurrection from the dead, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father and His personal, visible return in judgment, power and glory. We believe that faith in the Lord Jesus Christ is the only condition of salvation. This faith is a result on His gracious work of regeneration by the Holy Spirit, who causes one to realize the lost and sinful condition of the heart and enables one to turn in repentance and trust to Him as the sole deliverer from sin. We believe that the follower of Jesus Christ is a new creature whose life is bound to Jesus Christ, Savior, Lord, Source and Sustainer of one’s faith. Through the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, the Christ-follower is enabled to live a godly life of active love, bearing witness to the Lord’s powerful presence and thus glorifying Him before all people. We believe that there is a spiritual unity among those who believe in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. These people are part of Christ’s church and are entrusted with God’s glorious message of salvation. We believe that the final destination of every person will be determined entirely by his or her relation to Jesus Christ. All who have been reconciled to God through the atoning work of Christ will be kept to dwell with Him in heaven, perfect in every respect because of the presence of God. All who are not reconciled to God through Christ will be eternally separated from Him. Followers of Jesus should, therefore, labor to present the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the ends of the earth and to demonstrate His love to those in need. We believe this will happen as we accept: the mandate to love the Lord our God with all our heart, soul, strength and mind and to love our neighbor as ourselves love as the mark of people who follow Jesus Jesus as our model following Jesus as our mission CORE VALUES We seek to remain "invisible" so that national leadership assume the privilege of honoring Jesus in the work they do. We are committed to maintaining ongoing relationships with Saline Solution-International trainers and participants. We seek to understand and be sensitive to cultural differences.
